We invite  to participate in the 15th Book Fair in Krakow Umberto Eco's words Do not think that books will disappear became the slogan of the 15th anniversary edition of the Book Fair in Krakow.

The 15th edition of the Krakow Book Fair in Krakow in a nutshell:
- Fair guests will include: Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski, Marek Kamiński, Wojciech Kuczok and Maria Nurowska
- An extensive programme of side-events, including: Goncourt List: Polish selection 2011. Announcement of the winner and a meeting with Michel Houellebecq, winner of the Polish award for 2010; ARROW Plus Programme and work on the Polish book information platform (Books in Print)
- Premiere of the Salon od Regions – Silesia, everything about literature, culture, dialect and the art of Silesia.
- eBook-Cafe – a cafe with electronic books and the latest e-book readers organised during the New Media Salon
- The following competitions will be concluded in Krakow for the first time: Audio Book of the Year 2010, Paper Display, Historical Book, The Best Book for Autumn and Literary Blog of the Year
- A large, reading flash mob, entitled Miłosz at Midday

The Book Fair in Krakow is a nationwide event bringing together hundreds of publishers and thousands of literature lovers in a single place and at the same time. Participants include media representatives, eminent scholars, bestselling writers, as well as representatives of the printing and bookselling industries.

The 15th Book Fair in Krakow has been brought under the honorary patronage of the Polish President Bronisław Komorowski and is held under the calendar of the National Programme for the Polish EU Presidency 2011.
